“Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.” Psalm 127:4
Welcome, we are so glad you are here!
Arrows Christian Academy coop exists to guide parents in helping their children develop and mature in a positive, christ-centered environment that unites faith, learning and community by emphasizing biblical truth and academic excellence.

There are a few distinct characteristics that sets Arrows Christian Academy(ACA) apart from other home school co-ops found in the Denver metro area. First and foremost, our study plan and daily school schedule starts with the Bible and the teaching and discipleship of the Christian faith. Each week when we gather, we start with community chapel. Immediately following chapel, our students head to their respective Bible classes. From there, our students attend a humanities class, literature/writing class, science, art, and an assortment of electives for high school students. The ACA model to education is a combined Classical and Charlotte Mason approach, focusing on the grammar stage (K-6), dialectic stage (7-8), and rhetoric stage (grade 9-12). Each family receives a carefully designed study guide for their student(s) which is followed both at home and in the classroom throughout the school year.
Arrows Christian Academy follows a four-year cycle of study for their humanities (history, literature, and art) class. The cycles are as follows: Antiquities, Christendom, American Culture, and Modernity. Science and Bible classes are grade specific and not historically focused, although they are biblical. A typical Arrows Day has Bible, History/Geography, Literature/Writing/Grammar, Art, and Science for all K-12 students. We do not offer mathematics at ACA but do have numerous resources to help you in deciding the appropriate program and level for your child.
